"Ian is an exceptional chair of the Risk Management and Audit Committee at SPS. He gives all committee members time to express their view, he listens and pulls the meeting together very well. He also brings his professional expertise to the meeting when required to keep the organisation moving forward. I recommend Ian highly."

"I was struggling to understand how I could influence those I needed to. Ian helped me to find solutions from within myself and then gave me the prompts I needed to act"
Data Director, Insurance (coaching client)
"I felt stuck, but hadn't realised I was trapped by imposter syndrome. Coaching helped me work through who I am, my strengths and my goals - establishing myself for now and for the future"
Director, Elite Sport Organisation (coaching client)
"Ian served as a director with Circular Communities Scotland from October 2021 to November 2023. This was a critical time in our development as a national environmental charity. Ian was invaluable in supporting the development of a robust risk managment system within the organisation. He was active on our board asking insightful but supportive questions which helped us embrace risk and grow whilst ensuring risks were managed within tolerable limits.
Our strategy also changed significantly during this time and Ian helped us do this in a thorough way that set the foundation for the growth which has followed - we have doubled our turnover and staff in the 5 years since Ian joined our board. Lastly, in character Ian is a solid, calm, experienced, supportive, friendly professional and would be an asset to most organisations, but particularly those looking to manage risk and set the right strategic direction for the future."
